Nashville-based eDiscovery company DSi today announced the addition of one new employee as well as the promotion of three current employees.
Charles (Chuck) Snipes joins DSi as computer forensics examiner. In his new role, he will assist clients with onsite and remote data collection as well as defensible deletion projects. Snipes previously worked at CDS Ventures in Florida, where he served as chief technology officer. As a former detective for the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office in Gainesville, Fla., he has extensive experience in information technology and cybercrime investigations. Snipes earned his associate’s degree from the University of Florida and attended Law Enforcement and Corrections Academy in New Port Richey, Fla. He also holds a bachelor’s degree from Regents College (now Excelsior College), with concentrations in chemistry and mathematics.
To foster the company’s continued growth, DSi promoted three employees who have shown exemplary work and dedication:
- Soudavanh Jarvis, from tech II to electronic data discovery tech III
- Roman Williamson, from forensics tech I to forensics tech II
- Josh Keeton, from systems engineer to infrastructure manager
Jarvis joined DSi as operations/intake tech I in 2013. She has since been promoted to operations/intake tech II and, most recently, to electronic data discovery tech III. She assists her team in implementing new projects, overseeing project workflow and ensuring timely customer service.
Williamson joined DSi in 2012 as scan operator in DSi’s imaging department and was promoted to forensics technician I in 2013. In his new role as forensics technician II, Williamson will handle forensic imaging of computers, hard drives and network-based storage. As a Certified CelleBrite Logical Operator, he also performs much of the company’s mobile forensics.
Keeton joined DSi in 2013 as systems engineer and was responsible for overseeing the help desk and providing escalation support. Now, as IT infrastructure manager, he handles systems administration and infrastructure equipment and projects in addition to building and maintaining relationships with vendors.
“We’re thrilled to see such growth at DSi and to be able to attract the best talent in the industry,” said DSi President John Burchfield. “Chuck is already putting his experience and knowledge to work for our clients. And the promotions of Soudavanh, Roman and Josh are a testament to how our great team continues to grow and excel.”
