Ward becomes company’s first female VP

DSi, a national eDiscovery, legal technology and forensics company, has promoted Sandy Ward to vice president of client services and Lance Thieshen to vice president of operations. With this promotion, Ward becomes the first female vice president and executive team member in the company’s history.

“Sandy and Lance have been integral to DSi’s continued growth, how we assist clients and function as a company,” said John Burchfield, president of DSi. “With that growth comes new expectations, and we know they are the right people to meet and exceed them. They are trusted advisers not only in our office but to our clients and partners as well. ”

Ward came to DSi in 2015 from Bass, Berry & Sims to focus on emerging services and new legal technology solutions. She has been at the forefront of eDiscovery and the use of technology for litigation support for more than 15 years. She is also a certified e-discovery specialist (CEDS).

A technology and eDiscovery veteran, Thieshen joined DSi in 2015 as director of operations. He oversees the entire operational team to streamline workflow, recruit and train talent, troubleshoot challenging issues and facilitate company processes and technology offerings.

  • Andrew Kent to client services manager
